Acknowledging Real Talent (A.R.T.) is a nonprofit initiative under the Floyd & Bessie Johnson Foundation, created to support young artists between the ages of 14-18, in rural communities, by helping them develop fine and digital art skills beyond the classroom.
Our programs are designed for students who show creative interest and potential but may have limited access to arts education, mentorship, or exposure.
With a renewed commitment to mentorship, skill-building, and creative exploration, we will provide structured workshops, guided experiences, and supportive environments where students can grow creatively while building confidence, discipline, and self-expression.
For parents, A.R.T. offers a safe, educational space where creativity is encouraged and guided by experienced mentors. A.R.T. is a place to learn, experiment, and discover what’s possible through art.
